Animal Crossing-e is a series of cards for the Nintendo e-Reader that interact with Animal Crossing. Four series of cards were available in packs containing random cards. Other cards were available in magazines like Nintendo Power. The cards are scanned while at the machine in the Post Office.

Villager Cards

A villager card has a picture of a villager on it and some information about them, such as their catch phrase and their astrological sign. Scanning a Villager Card causes the villager on the card to send the player a letter with a present.
