Nintendo Co., Ltd. (任天堂株式会社 Nintendō Kabushiki gaisha?) is a Japanese video game hardware manufacturer and software publisher. They are the largest video game making company, followed by Sony. They have countless series, such as the Mario, Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Metroid series. They previously made hanafuda cards before they came into the video game industry, and are now one of the largest video game companies there are. Since they're the developers of the Animal Crossing series, some of their products, like the NES have made it into Animal Crossing gameplay. They also have made the SNES, Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, Gameboy, Game Boy Color, Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo DS.
