A red turnip is an item in Animal Crossing: City Folk. This item can be eaten.

A red turnip can be obtained by planting a red turnip seed. Once planted, it grows each day it is watered, until becoming fully grown six days after being planted. If it is not watered, it wilts. If a wilted red turnip is watered with a silver can, it will be revived the next day and revert to the first stage of growth.

A red turnip's sell price depends on its stage of growth:
