'''Broffina''' is a [[snooty]] [[chicken]] [[villager]] in the {{SER}}. She first appeared in {{NL}} and has appeared in all subsequent games. Her catchphrase is a portmanteau of two different onomatopoeias of sounds made by chickens, "cluck" and "cock-a-doodle-doo." Her Japanese catchphrase, ''kekkō'', is similarly onomatopoeia for the sound a chicken makes, ''kokekokkō''. Her [[photo|picture]] phrase is a reference to the popular saying, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you," meaning to not act ungrateful to someone that you are dependent on.

Broffina is a chicken with burnt orange feathers and a yellow beak. Her beak has pink lipstick neatly applied on it, and she has brighter orange eyelids on top of her half-full eyes. Her eyes are black, with a set of short eyelashes on both of her eyes. The feathers under her shirt are black, leading to her green striped legs. Her tail feathers are multi-colored, with orange feathers on top of yellow and black ones. All of these features give her a Latin-American appearance, which relates to her species: chickens are common throughout Latin American countries, and some are even kept as pets.

Broffina is a snooty villager, meaning she appears to be cold-hearted, vain and snobbish at first. Broffina is a sophisticated and well-mannered villager who enjoys gossiping and shopping. She enjoys giving the [[player]] beauty tips, such as applying sunscreen to keep a fair complexion and wearing the right clothes. She is sometimes rude and blunt, which gives her a hard time making friends with any other villagers. When befriended, she will appear to be a lot more caring and less rude. She typically gets along with [[cranky]], [[smug]], other snooty villagers and occasionally normal villagers. However, she may make the latter angry in a conversation. She may not get along with [[lazy]], [[peppy]], [[big sister]], and [[jock]] villagers due to her prickly personality.
