Category talk:Users

Delete this category, and most of its subcategories

While I appreciate user-generated content that has nothing to do with this wiki, I feel like this category should really exist, if by all means it is just to categorize users

And this include most of the subcategories that categorize based on certain things, especially the Category:Autoconfirmed users which makes no sense to have. For the exceptions, Category:Fans of June and Category:Fans of Antonio can simply be moved to a could be moved to subpage for ToadetteFan007 and PoizonMushro0m respectively since they appear to be poised as a user subpage in this perspective and the main {{UB Fan Character}} template can't display these categories for whatever reason. That however may require further discussion with ToadetteFan007 involved. Category:Recipient of the Golden Leaf Award on the other hand should just be moved to the main Nookipedia category.

I'm personally fine with Category:Fans of Antonio being deleted as it was created in a different era of my life and I'm not too active on Nookipedia too much as a whole anymore (Aside from moderating the Discord server...) I'll go ahead and start removing my links to the page and the associated userbox from my userspaces if we are fine with marking the category page itself for deletion :) ~PoizonMushro0m 17:35, November 18, 2022 (EST)

I would also agree a lot of these don't really need to exist. Category:Users, Category:Autoconfirmed users, Category:Fans, Category:Fans of Star Trek, Category:Fans of characters, Category:Fans of Antonio, Category:Fans of Pierce, and Category:Fans of June just do not serve any significant purpose. They are either empty, incomplete, both, or are not important to separate out through the category tree.

Category:Night Users and Category:Users on vacation/Template:Vacation have somewhat more justification to their existence (although I don't think we need either), but they could be integrated into some other category like general Category:Nookipedia.
