The '''Fortune Teller Shop''' is a shop that appears in {{PG}}, {{WW}}, {{CF}} and {{NL}}.  The shop is run by a [[panther]] named [[Katrina]], who offers to read the [[player]] their [[luck|fortunes]], help remove bad luck, and sell good luck charms.

In {{PG}}, Katrina's shop appears randomly in location and by date. She can tell the player their fortune for 50 [[Bell]]s using her crystal ball. [[Copper]] can let the player know when she will appear in town a few days in advance. Her tent is open from 9 PM to 9 PM the following day.

In {{WW}}, Katrina's shop will appear on a random day of the week in front of the town hall, offering to read the player's fortune for the day for 100 Bells. She will determine the player's luck by drawing a card and checking if it is on a natural or inverted state. The card and its state will determine if the player's fortune is good, bad, or neutral. She will also offer to "purify" the player's bad luck for 10,000 Bells, which removes the effect of bad luck for a day, even if the player does not have bad luck from the start.

Katrina will also tell the player how compatible they are with another villager.

In {{CF}}, Katrina operates a store in the far right of the [[city]] instead of a tent in town.  The player can only visit the shop once per week to either have their fortune for that day read for 100 Bells. 

The player may also ask Katrina for a charm once a month for 100 Bells, leading her to relay a set of instructions which a visitor must perform on the player's town so that the visitor may receive the charm.

In {{NL}}, Katrina sets up her tent in the [[event plaza]] on a random day of the week. Katrina will offer to read the player their fortune for 500 Bells, telling the player which piece of clothing will give the player good luck on that specific day.  After Katrina has told 20 fortunes to the mayor or other villagers she will suggest building a permanent fortune telling shop on Main Street as a [[public works project]] between the [[Photo Booth]] and the [[Dream Suite]] for 340,000 Bells.  Building the Fortune Shop will allow the player to receive daily fortunes as well as obtain the lucky hats.  While giving the player fortunes, both Katrina and the player will be transported on top of a Zodiac wheel surrounded by stars.

====Lucky hats====
If a player visits Katrina on her shop on Main Street when their [[Luck]] is bad, she will offer to sell the player one of two lucky hats for 10,000 Bells. These hats allow players to have the same effect as wearing the daily lucky item.

The Celebration Hat is similar to the hat worn during [[wikipedia:kanreki|kanreki]], while the Tingle Hood resembles the hat worn by the [[zeldawiki:Tingle|Tingle]].

Wearing either of the hats has the same effect as wearing the daily lucky item.
