The Manila Clam is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It can be dug up on the beach with a shovel. It appears as a small dark spot that will spurt water then disappear in a cycle. The first time the player retrieves one, they will learn a recipe to make Fish Bait, which requires a Manila Clam to craft.

The player is rewarded for finding the clams via the Clam and Collected Nook Miles goals. Additionally, three Manila Clams are used in the clam chowder dish on Turkey Day.
