Tree

A tree is a terrain feature of Animal Crossing, they can be in many different forms and can be shaken, that could result with the tree spawning items, furniture or even bees! Trees are mostly used for decoration and fruit harvesting in Animal Crossing. They can also be used to make habitats for bugs or to block people. Trees appear in every Animal Crossing game to date.

Adding

To add a tree you'll need to first plant it. You will then need to water it as it goes through 4 different stages before it can become a fully grown tree. If at any of these stages (especially the first one's), the tree is not watered, it will die and you will be able to pluck it out, just like a weed.

Removing

To remove a tree you will need to repeatedly hit it with an axe until it fulls down and a stump is remaining. You will then need to dig it up with a shovel and then either press A or B. With A, the player will use his shovel to dig the hole back in, with B he will kick it in.

Apple Tree

A standard apple tree with three apples on it which when shaken will release the apples.

A standard orange tree with three oranges on it which when shaken will release the oranges.

A standard peach tree with three peaches on it which when shaken will release the peach.

A standard cherry tree with three cherries on it which when shaken will release the cherries.

Coconut Tree

A coconut tree shaped like a palm tree with two coconuts on it which when shaken will release the coconuts.

Bell Tree

A tree which when shaken will release up to 30,000 bells per bag in money (must be manually planted).

Pine Tree

A cedar shaped tree which are more likely to contain items in but are harder to chop down than normal trees.

Christmas Pine

A pine tree, decorated with Christmas lights for the holiday season.

Bee Tree

A normal/pine tree which when shaken will release bees which can chase you and sting you in the eye. To get better you will need to buy medicine from Tom Nook's Shop.

Furniture Tree

A normal/pine tree which when shaken will release furniture.

Money Tree

A normal/pine tree which when shaken will release 100 bells.
