Simple Wooden Fencing

Fences are a DIY outdoor item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The DIY recipes for fences can be obtained at the Nook Stop for 1000 Nook Miles each, and only 2 of them can be obtained per day. Tom Nook also supplies the player with 50 simple wooden fences after they place 3 house sites along with the wanted Furniture, which is what unlocks the recipes in the game. They are crafted in stacks of 10.

Placing Fences

Placing Fences isn't like placing ordinary furniture. The player must equip the wanted fence from their Pocket and it'll be equipped similarly to a Tool. When they are equipped, the player can build the fence in front of them, and they are oriented perpendicular to the player direction. Fences automatically connect with those placed next to them, but they don't connect diagonally. Two fences placed that are facing directions different from each other will make a corner.
