- For the painting that was called the Amazing Painting in Animal Crossing, please see Calm Painting.
- "A painting of a city militia that was found, after restoration of the work, to take place in the daylight."
- — Museum Exhibit, Animal Crossing: New Leaf
The Amazing Painting is one of the pieces of artwork available in the Animal Crossing series games. This piece is based on the 1642 work Night Watch (De Nachtwacht) by Dutch painter Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. Since the Amazing Painting is available only at Crazy Redd's, one should be wary of forgeries.
Authenticity
In New Leaf, if the man in white is on the left and the man in black is on the right, then the painting is a forgery.
in New Horizons, if the man on the left didn't wear a hat, then the painting is a forgery.
