Neutral I rather prefer which term the Animal Crossing series itself generally uses for the season. If it favors Autumn, then

For what it's worth, while fall might not be used across the pond, both fall and autumn are very widespread in the United States, enough so that I'm not sure most people here would consider it a primarily British term (don't quote me on that).
