In Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, the player primarily develops with Paradise Planning on an archipelago, a series of islands that feature various geographic features and seasonal differences. The main island of this archipelago is the location of the Paradise Planning office, the School, the Café, the Restaurant, the Hospital, the Apparel Shop, and [{DJ KK]]'s music festival. It also features potential clients for the player to make vacation homes with, and on occasions a special character.
