The gold card is an item in Animal Crossing: City Folk. When in the player's pockets, it can be used to make purchases at GracieGrace and the auction house using funds from their savings account. Unlike the standard shopping card, the gold card also gives the player a 20% discount at GracieGrace.
The gold card can be obtained in a letter from the Bank of Nintendo after the player saves 
1,000,000 Bells at the ABD. Unlike the standard shopping card, it cannot be reissued at the ABD in town hall if it is lost.
