Nate is an orange bear with a thick, green unibrow and black, dotlike eyes. He appears to pull a continuous unhappy look upon his face, due to his mouth meeting at his black, triangular nose. He also has three freckles on each cheek, a white snout, and cream paws.

As a [[lazy]] villager, Nate has a relaxed, laid-back lifestyle and will appear friendly toward the player. He often talks about food and is humorous or naïve during conversations.
