Move to more official name[edit]
As far as I can tell, Hometown Day is not the official name for the event. The in-game name changes based on the player's town's name, so we can't directly use that as a name. There are two potential names it could be moved to:
- The official Nintendo Power guide, as seen here, uses "Your Hometown" Day (quotes included). The current article name comes from the guide, but altered to remove your and the quotes.
- The in-game name could be used, replacing the player's town's name with "Town" (Town Day), while explaining how the name works in a note.
