We're glad you've taken the step to create an account and edit our wiki! With an account you'll now be able to easily edit pages, participate in discussions, watch pages, track your edits, and have access to additional editing tools. You can also create and edit your own user page.

If you intend to continue editing, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's general use and editing, and privacy policies.
  • Preview your changes before saving them to avoid the need for making corrections afterwards.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes instead of undoing or reinstating changes repeatedly without discussion.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This code will automatically leave your name and a timestamp.

You can find editing tutorials and further information about our policies on the help pages.

Where to start? Check out the The Roost for the latest discussions, or consult the to-do list on the Main Page to see tasks that need to be worked on.
Questions? Feel free to ask a member of staff directly, post your question on the The Roost talk page, or ask about it on our Discord icon Discord server. We're always happy to help!
Thank you for your contributions, and have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Avoid second-person writing

Hello, I've noticed several of your edits (such as this one) include second-person writing in them (i.e. usage of the words "you" or "your" when referring to the player). Just want to let you know that the Manual of Style states that articles should never be written in the second-person (or first-person, for that matter); in any context that refers to the "player", they must be referred to as such instead of saying "you" or "your".

To give an example, instead of:

"You must buy 15 items to upgrade Tom Nook's shop."

It should be:

"The player must buy 15 items to upgrade Tom Nook's shop."

Alternatively, you can avoid referring to the player altogether if applicable. For example:

"A total of 15 items must be bought to upgrade Tom Nook's shop."

Hope my advice helped. Snapping Turtle NH Icon.pngThe Jacketed TerrapinSoft-Shelled Turtle NH Icon.png 22:55, March 8, 2024 (EST)

Repeating information

Please make sure to read through articles before adding information to make sure you're not repeating something that is already there, as you have done in several of your edits. Thank you for your understanding. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 15:16, March 9, 2024 (EST)

What does the Status mean?

It says that my status is "inactive" even though I edit every day. What does inactive or active even mean? Can someone answer my question???Acnh Player (talk) 12:41, March 10, 2024 (EDT)

It looks like you haven't added yourself to Template:Activity. Hope this helps! Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 14:03, March 10, 2024 (EDT)
