I think that it would be valuable to add a field for the title's official website. As new games were released the websites were updated (or redirected), however the waybackmachine has archived all of them. - I think it's better to just place official links in an 'External links' section at the bottom of the article (as is done at New_Leaf#External_Links) - especially because there are multiple language-versions of websites, and it'd be a bit much to list them all in the infobox. ~SuperHamster Talk 21:59, July 26, 2014 (EDT)
Removing national flags[edit]
The use of national flags to represent regions of release is problematic. The main issue lies in the use of the Canadian & U.S. flag to represent 'NA' (North America), however the flag of the European Union presents a similar issue. Canada & the U.S. are not the only countries in North America. To use only those two flags is very anglocentric. Additionally, Nintendo has distributors in South America as well, meaning that even MORE countries are not being represented by listing only these two flags. There are also countries that are in the EU that Nintendo does not distribute to or vice versa. And finally, there are countries that receive EU region-locked titles that are not part of the EU (e.g. South Africa). I propose that we use an abbreviation system rather than images, which is the system used by Wikipedia (example). Template:NorthAmericaEvent and Template:EuropeEvent should also be changed, although in their case we might consider removing images from the template entirely rather than trying to find a replacement.--sunmarsh (talk) 22:09, September 28, 2014 (EDT)
