Bringing Back Projects[edit]

Hi Wookiee123, I'm Pokebub. Nice edits so far. I was wondering that if you and a few more users would like to bring back the Projects. These Projects were made along time ago, but recently all the Projects have been Inactive. Would you Like to help? Reply. Pokebub 20:02, 15 June 2013 (EDT)

Hey Pokebub, I'd love to partake in those Projects you mentioned. I'll get started on them soon. --Wookiee123 03:19, 16 June 2013 (EDT)

Hey Wookiee - you've done a lot of great article work lately and have shown to be experienced. I feel that you could put to good use the patroller tools, and would like to nominate you to become our latest staff member if you wish. Just let me know :) ~SuperHamster Talk 09:49, 17 June 2013 (EDT)

Hey SuperHamster, I gladly accept this offer of becoming a patroller. Thank you for the offer! I will make the most of my duties as a patroller. --Wookiee123 01:01, 18 June 2013 (EDT)
Great! I have placed your nomination over at Nookipedia:Staff/Apply. Good luck :) Also, might be a good idea to put together a light userpage, just as an introduction. Always nice to have, especially as a staff member. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 02:54, 18 June 2013 (EDT)
You've been approved :) You're now our latest Patroller. Woot! ~SuperHamster Talk 01:51, 21 June 2013 (EDT)
Also feel free to give yourself a fancy profile pic over at Nookipedia:Patrollers. ~SuperHamster Talk 01:57, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

The problem with this image is that this one is artwork from Wild World, not City Folk. However, there actually is a piece of artwork of Copper from City Folk, believe it or not. Despite looking very similar, you can tell that the artwork from City Folk has a more a rounded nose while the WW one is more jagged, or square around the edges. Sadly, we don't have that image along with a number of other City Folk images of Special Characters. I'd get them myself, but they would result in looking like garbage if I did it haha. Thanks!--XXSuperXXNintendoXx 04:34, 5 July 2013 (EDT)

Oh, sorry about that! I placed that image of Copper there under the assumption that it was the dual artwork for Wild World and City Folk based on what his article said. I didn't know there was a separate piece of artwork for Copper from City Folk. Thanks anyway! --Wookiee123 04:36, 5 July 2013 (EDT)

Hey again Wookiee - hope you're doing well. You've been doing a great job with editing over the last few weeks, and have been a great help. I'd like to nominate you as our latest Administrator, if you wish to accept. We have a long list of Patrollers, though very few Administrators - even though you've only been around for a few weeks, I think you'd make a nice fit and are definitely ready to move up. Just let me know what you think :) ~SuperHamster Talk 02:13, 9 July 2013 (EDT)

Yes, I'll gladly accept this promotion. I believe I would do very well as an admin. I'd like to thank you for keeping an eye on me since I've been a regular editor. It's really been a pleasure contributing to this wiki :) --Wookiee123 02:16, 9 July 2013 (EDT)
Great, glad to hear it :) I've put up your nomination. And no problem! ~SuperHamster Talk 02:25, 9 July 2013 (EDT)

I've closed your nomination as successful - you are now our latest administrator :) Enjoy the tools! If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 07:11, 14 July 2013 (EDT)

That's great news! I'll make sure to practice using these tools and utilizing them well. Thanks for all the help you've given me! --Wookiee123 17:57, 14 July 2013 (EDT)

Just wanted to say, great job with the lists - you've got drive. I think I'd go mad trying to put all those lists together in the short amount of time you did. Keep up the nice work :) ~SuperHamster Talk 11:33, 29 July 2013 (EDT)

On another note - I noticed you created Template:VillagerGC for villagers without birthdays. Instead of having two templates, I adjusted Template:Villager so that by default, each cell would display the birthday field only when its defined, if that works with you. ~SuperHamster Talk 00:34, 30 July 2013 (EDT)
Oh, thanks! That's a big help! By the way, I only created the VillagerGC template so that there's not so much white space between "Personality" and the bottom of the template on the "List of villagers in Animal Crossing" that I'm currently creating. I'll use the regular Villager template for the GCN Animal Crossing-only villagers on the main "List of villagers" page (so that the template is the same size for everyone). I'm doing it this way for the GCN Animal Crossing villagers since there are no villager birthdays in the original game. --Wookiee123 00:47, 30 July 2013 (EDT)
Ohh, gotcha! That makes sense. Good thing I didn't delete it - I hadn't thought of that ;P ~SuperHamster Talk 00:52, 30 July 2013 (EDT)

Other languages[edit]

I can safely say that the sections fixing is now over, thanks in part to you. The galleries are now before the Other languages in every articles I modified. :) --Ocre (talk) 01:22, September 4, 2013 (EDT)

Thank you so much! This has been a great help! Also thanks for all of your other contributions, mainly the French names of the villagers. Hope you continue to enjoy editing here at Nookipedia! --Wookiee123 (talk) 10:31, September 4, 2013 (EDT)

Thanks so much for complementing my edits. I really do appreciate and it helps encourage me to do more edits. So again, thanks a lot. :) 19:07, September 5, 2013 (EDT)

Birthday template[edit]

Hey! Remember how you asked me to make a birthday template for when multiple characters share the same birthday? I finally got to it - sorry it took so long! It's been a busy few weeks.

The template is located at Template:DoubleBirthday, and you can see an example of its use in my sandbox. We'll just have to update the respective schedule pages as needed. Looks good? Feel free to make any changes. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 22:07, September 20, 2013 (EDT)

Thanks a lot! I've already gotten started on this, and I will continue to finish it up. --Wookiee123 (talk) 23:58, September 20, 2013 (EDT)

Special Characters[edit]

Hey, it's nice to see you back. I have a question regarding the dialogue pages that have been created for Rover and K.K. Slider. Are they just gonna contain their quotes on the train? I state this because I'm working on citing quotes for special characters, but I haven't had the time to dedicate myself to doing it due to school and extracurricular activities. If you want to see an idea of what I'm doing, then look at my sandbox. I think it would be more beneficial if we don't create pages on every single dialogue produced by a special character in the series, as we can easily reference specific quotes, I feel like it's just gonna add a large number of unnecessary pages, and it would work just as well without creating seperates. Also, I hope it isn't sounding like I'm bashing your work because I like the proposal of dialogue pages, but I feel like it would only really work for each of the six personalities. However, I do think dialogue pages do work for a small number of special characters, such as Rover, which you've already done. So, do you think it would be cool if I handled the majority of the special character stuff while you continue doing personalities and dialogues similar to Rover on the train. Thanks! --XXSuperXXNintendoXx (talk) 17:29, May 19, 2014 (EDT)

Great to see you editing for a while after nearly a year of inactivity! Well, uh... I just want to say hi, even though we haven't really met. :) Mario Signature.png 23:12, May 20, 2015 (EDT)

Since you haven't contributed in many, many months, I've demoted you. If you ever need the tools again, though, be sure to let us know. Thanks. Mario Signature.png 22:50, December 19, 2016 (EST)
