:For what it's worth, cows and bulls use slightly different icons on their Animal Crossing e-cards (Chuck) vs (Patty). However, the amiibo cards use the same icon for both (Patty) vs (T-Bone). I take this to mean that they are both the same species now (if they weren't before). The real question is what the merged page would be called. *Oppose purely because Bull and Cow exist separately in New Leaf's data. The file
STR_Race.umstb
lists them as two distinct races/species, just like. If we go by the same file, we should also probably rename Rhino to Rhinoceros and Cub to Bear Cub as these races are named as such. --Dorsal Axe (talk) 11:30, November 11, 2019 (EST)

Merger of Cow and Bull pages?

So someone proposed that the cow and bull pages be merged? EDIT: I'm in support of this. AgentParadox (talk) 17:00, March 26, 2019 (EDT)

I would go based on whether bull villagers describe themselves as being a "bull" in conversations. I don't know which male personalities mention their species in conversations; peppy villagers do. That's a little difficult to test.—Ok (talk) 22:31, March 26, 2019 (EDT)
I'd rather keep them separate unless we can find evidence. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 13:00, March 27, 2019 (EDT)
So I just remembered: on occasion, a cranky villager will ping you and ask whether you prefer spaghetti or mac and cheese. If the former is chosen, Chief for example, will say "Yeah! Gimme some of those hot noodles right now, and I'd be a happy wolf!" I think that since two thirds of the bulls are cranky, this might be worth testing. AgentParadox (talk) 13:36, May 9, 2019 (EDT)
For what it's worth, cows and bulls use slightly different icons on their Animal Crossing e-cards (Chuck) vs (Patty). However, the amiibo cards use the same icon for both (Patty) vs (T-Bone). I take this to mean that they are both the same species now (if they weren't before). The real question is what the merged page would be called.
