Red turnips are an item in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Red turnips are obtained after planting a red turnip seed, obtained from Joan for 1,000 Bells. The player needs to water a red turnip once per day in order to grow the plant; failing to water the red turnip will cause it to wilt. Depending on the size of the red turnip, the player can sell the item for between 2 Bells and 16,000 Bells.
If a red turnip is traded to Wendell, he will give the player a turban or country guitar.
