==Characteristics==

===Appearance===
Gruff is a goat with green fur and brown hair shaped like a widow's peak. His eyes are blue with eyelashes and are almost always half closed, which give him the appearance of a [[smug]] villager. He has white horns and a black nose. He also has a brown beard. His tail is also brown. The inside of his ears is a pale pink.

===Personality===

Gruff has a cranky personality, meaning that he will appear rude and mean to the [[player]] at first. If the player befriends him he will be nicer to them, but he still will be slightly rude. He will admire [[lazy]] [[villagers]]' laid-back personality and will get along with [[snooty]] villagers due to their similarly rude personalities. He may find it hard to talk to [[peppy]] villagers due to their hyper personality.
