The Boot is a crafting material in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and is considered one of the various trash items alongside the Empty Can, Old Tire, Spoiled Turnips, Used Fountain Firework, and any lost items. As a trash item, it is penalized by the Happy Home Academy if inside a house.
The Boot can be obtained by fishing a medium fish shadow. It sells for 10 Bells when sold to Nook's Cranny.
