Sprite for the Rescue Service app on the Nook Phone.

Rescue Service is an app on the NookPhone in Animal Crossing: New Horizons that the player can use if they are stuck somewhere on the island or lost. Each rescue costs 100 Nook Miles. Throughout the Rescue Service Process, Resetti's theme and voice can be heard; this is likely his new job, as he was laid off from the Resetti Surveillance Center. Calling the Rescue Service will give the player several options of where to go: the Plaza, the Airport, the shop (once built), or the player's tent/house. Once at the player's chosen destination, the Operator will tell them that "results ain't everything," and "This island? Your life? Keep 'em tidy!"

If the player is on a May Day tour, the Operator will recognize as such, and will instead drop the player off at the maze island's dock, while resetting the maze itself so that the player may attempt it again. Any items in the player's inventory are removed, except for any gift that Rover gives them, should they reset it after already clearing the maze.

If the player does not have enough Nook Miles to cover the fee, the Operator will tell himself to calm down, and then drop the player off at a random location for no additional cost.

The service cannot be used indoors.
