Talk:Guide:Easter Eggs, Glitches, and Secrets

From Nookipedia, the Animal Crossing wiki

7/16/14 revision

Writing here to remind myself of things to do in the ACGC section of the next edit (or if I never get around to it, another editor can research these topics):
- Note that while replacing a stump will guarantee a money tree's growth it does not guarantee it will bear bells. DONE
- Include info on walking on tables glitch, walking on ceiling glitch, walking on water glitch, item duplication glitch involving stereos, placing furniture on top of each other, and gracie on signboard glitch. (Info on many of these can be found here.) DONE
- Include info on the dummy test item that was not removed. DONE
- Consider mentioning how to force mail delivery. DONE
- Consider mentioning that the gyroid face trick can be used to remove otherwise unremovable glitch items from the inventory. DONE
- Consider mentioning trick for catching spider/bagworm.
- Research whether the diary entries are also save upon gamed deletion.
- Consider including info on beta/test levels discovered on the disc's data, accessible via gameshark.

Some things I can think of off the top of my head for ACNL:
- Standing on PWPs glitch, walk in water glitch, placing PWPs in water/other areas they shouldn't be, how to exit map boundaries, allow multiple players to sit on one stump over WiFi, making money off lazy campers, how to avoid beestings, change gyroids at club LOL, and photo booth filters. --sunmarsh (talk) 12:53, July 16, 2014 (EDT)

Consider separate pages?

The Animal Crossing section alone will be long enough to merit its own page I'm sure, and we haven't even begun on any of the other games. --sunmarsh (talk) 21:46, July 18, 2014 (EDT)

It's better if we split this maybe to several game subpages, but have this page as the "home page". We can also create a navigational template for these subpages. Considering the size of this page, a split would be nice, but I'd like it if there are more than two games being listed. Mario Signature.png 16:12, July 21, 2014 (EDT)

New Leaf Easter Egg

Another Easter Egg is that if you dig a hole by a stump, sit on the stump, turn to the direction of the hole, and get off of the stump, it will look like you fell into a pitfall.
