This article is named Clothes, but all of the New Horizons items are listed at Clothing/New Horizons. Is there a reason that we created subpages under a redirect (Clothing)? If not, perhaps we should move one or the other. (talk) 16:35, September 10, 2020 (EDT)

Interestingly the lede uses Clothing instead of Clothes. I'd say move the page to Clothing. Decomposer 22:14, September 10, 2020 (EDT)

A question regarding categories on the ACNH spreadsheet

So I've noticed that on the ACNH spreadsheet for the clothing, there are several "categories" where a certain piece of clothing under them will either have a checkmark or a red background. I don't know what any of these 100% mean, so anything in parentheses below are just guesses. Anyway, these include:

• Spring
• Summer
• Autumn
• Winter
• China
• BirthdayParty (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during birthday celebrations. I've also seen a similar pattern when a villager is selected during Wedding Season photos)
• ReadingBook (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear when reading a book)
• Sleeping (seems to relate to clothing villagers wear when they are about to go to bed. I've also seen a similar pattern when villagers are sick)
• CatchingInsect (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during the Bug-Off)
• None
• Japanese
• Fishing (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during the Fishing Tourney)
• Usually
• Fashionable
• RainWear (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear when it is raining)
• BirthdayPartyMain (seems to be the same as BirthdayParty, but the item list is not the same, so it could be that NPC Villager and Player birthdays have separate clothing lists?)
• Countdown (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during the Countdown)
• SnowWear (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear when it is snowing)
• Sports (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear while they are doing exercises or lifting weights)
• Yoga (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear while they are doing yoga)
• Sunbathing
• Concert
• TempCreate_*insert personality here* (seems to relate to which clothing a certain villager personality can wear; e.g. Jock villagers usually wear Doublets during birthday celebrations or Countdowns)
• TempCreate_All (seems to relate which clothing any villager personality can wear; e.g. all villagers wear the Athletic Jacket as their default clothing when doing exercises or lifting weights)
• Easter (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during Bunny Day)
• Fireworks (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during the Fireworks Show)
• Halloween (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during Halloween)
• Harvest_Party (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during Harvest Festival while outside)
• Harvest_Cook (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during Harvest Festival while in their house)
• Christmas (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during Toy Day)
• Carnival (seems to relate to clothing items villagers wear during Festivale)

Once again, I am not 100% sure that the ones in parentheses are what they actually mean, so feel free to correct me on any of them. The only ones I'm really wondering about are the ones I didn't guess with parentheses.

I'm also asking this cuz I've noticed not all of these items have their particular group noted on their individual pages (For example, none of Birthday/Countdown clothing items make note of their statuses as items in those groups. The Tank item also doesn't mention that it is the default shirt villagers wear when they are doing yoga). The Jacketed Terrapin 00:36, July 3, 2021 (EDT)
