Golden tool

Gold tools are the third upgraded versions of tools, being rarer, but even better than silver tools. Tools that can be found golden include the axe, net, slingshot, watering can, shovel, and fishing rod. Golden tools are found in Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Axe
Players can obtain a golden axe by doing the following in each game.
