'''Bob''' is a [[lazy]] [[villager]] who has appeared in every game of the {{SER}}. His name is probably a reference to [[Wikipedia:bobcat|bobcats]]. His initial phrase, "pthhpth," may be a reference to the sound a cat makes when coughing up a hairball. 

In older versions of {{PC}}, icons for Bob could be found unused in the game code. Fittingly, Bob would eventually become an official part of the game as of the January 2018 update.

Bob is a purple cat with darker purple polka dots, half-closed lazy yellow eyes, and light purple paws. The inside of his ears are pink, and his tail is purple with dark purple stripes.

===Personality===

As a lazy villager, Bob will be easy to get along with due to his laid-back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares a love of food and relaxing, and will often bring it up in conversations with the player. In {{WW}}, he will mention his dream of diving in a pool of food. He will enjoy partaking in the usual [[hobbies]], usually for relaxing reasons or for food, when [[fishing]]. He will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse [[jock]] villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, compared to the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food.
