Template:Event Infobox Bright Nights is an Animal Crossing: Wild World event in February. It starts on the second Monday of February and lasts until the following Sunday.

You may think you have stepped out into a sprawling metropolitan street while walking about your neighborhood this week. Do not worry though, the town has not been moved without your knowledge... It is just decorated for Bright Nights!

In accordance with Bright Nights tradition, villagers decorate their houses with bright lights. In recent years, however, villagers have become so ambitious that a competition has evolved. The player is the judge of the villagers' decorations. Walk around nightly to check out the spectacle and then visit the Town Hall to talk to Tortimer. When you first talk to him each day, he will ask you what you think of the lights in the town. If you answer "Gorgeous!", he'll ask you to pick which villager's lights you like best. Your last chance to vote is on Saturday. On Sunday, Tortimer will name the villager who received the most votes the Bright Star of the festival. Make sure to notify the winner as well! Some extremely ecstatic winners have been known to give gifts to the judge as thanks.

Villagers may still move in and out during Bright Nights, and K.K. Slider will still be at The Roost at his regular time. However, other Special Characters may not appear - such as; Joan and Redd.

In addition to the villagers' houses, cedar trees are also decorated with lights.
