February is the second month of the year. It is the last month of winter in the Northern Hemisphere, as snow melts completely on the 25th revealing grass. It is also the last month of summer in the Southern Hemisphere, and is considered the peak for bugs, fishes, and sea creatures as the temperature cools down considerably leading to next month.
