July is the seventh month of the year. It is the second month of summer in the northern hemisphere, and the second month of winter in the southern hemisphere. In the northern hemisphere, it is possible to catch various valuable beetles and stags. In the southern hemisphere, bugs, fish, and sea creatures are at their lowest. The only lucrative bugs in New Horizons during this month include the Dung Beetle, Rajah Brooke's Birdwing, Emperor Butterfly, and the Tarantula.

Flea Market	Wild World: July 1 City Folk: July 23	Wild World City Folk	Villagers will sell their furniture items to the player, and they can purchase furniture items from the player.
Fireworks Show	July 4	Animal Crossing	The July nights come alive in the town with a fireworks display. The player can receive items from Redd to celebrate the night sky.
Fishing Tourney	July 8	New Horizons	A Fishing competition hosted by C.J. on the second week of July.
La-Di-Day	July 8	Wild World	Villager will try to give the player suggestions for a new town tune.
Bug-Off	Wild World: July 16 City Folk/New Leaf: July 15 New Horizons (Northern Hemisphere): July 22	Wild World City Folk New Leaf New Horizons	A Bug-Catching competition hosted by either Nat or Flick.
Yay Day	July 23	Wild World	Villagers swap compliments with the player, and may refer to them infrequently after the event.
Morning Aerobics	July 25 to August 31	Animal Crossing	Every morning, Copper and the other villagers will be performing aerobics besides the wishing well. The player can join in as well.
