The lollipop is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.5.0 Fall Update. The lollipop is used to exchange with Jack, who will offer a reward to the player. This item is edible and by eating it, the player will earn energy to be able to relocate trees or break rocks. Up to 30 of the item can be stacked together.

The lollipop can be obtained from any villagers if they are given a piece of candy on Halloween.

"Candy counter"

Within the game's code, a hidden counter determines how many candy the player has given to a villager. The odds increases with each Candy given to each villager, with four Candies given equating to a 100% chance of obtaining a lollipop.
