The Money Tree is a tree item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As a tree item, it can relocated after eating an edible item and using a Shovel. The tree produces three bell bags, with each sharing a certain monetary value. Once shaken, the money tree reverts to a Hardwood Tree.
The Money Tree is obtained by planting a Bell bag on a shining soil. If hit with an Axe, the Money Tree will drop its Bells and produce either Hardwood, Wood, or Softwood. Additionally, mushrooms can be found near a Money Tree.
