Deletion of Taxi

As per consensus of Talk:Taxi, I've moved the text of Taxi to Transportation.

However, I do not know how to delete the original page. Nor do I think I want to, haha..

Can you correct my error?

Here is the timeline:

• December 6, 2021: Your first account was named "Nook Gamer 333."
• January 8, 2022: On Kalina70 and Vivian's talk pages, you requested your account to be renamed to "ToadFan700." Neither party was able to rename you as the renaming tool is reserved to directors and bureaucrats, but Drago noticed the situation, renamed you to "ToadFan700," and notified you that he renamed your account.
• October 22, 2022: You created a new account called "Animal crossing Fan."
• December 7, 2022: As "Animal crossing Fan," and on AlexBot2004's talk page, you requested your account to be renamed to "Eevee." AlexBot2004 renamed your account and notified you.
• April 7, 2023: On AlexBot2004's talk page, you requested that your account name, "Eevee," to be renamed to "April." He renamed you to "April." This was unusually a 4-month period, but he made an allowance, as he had not mentioned the 6-month wait period for the first name change, and notified you of the name change + 6-month wait period for new name changes. Not long later that day, you notified me on my talk page (via an anonymous IP address) that you had lost access to your password to your account named April and asked for advice. But before I had the chance to reply, you created a new account named "Spring."
• April 8, 2023: Due to the unique circumstances, I asked you on your Spring talk page if you wanted your username at the time, "Spring," to be renamed back to "April," or if you wanted to continue using "Spring" instead. You agreed that you wanted your previous name back, so I renamed you back to "April." At this time, I gave you advice to link your account to your email, so as not to lose access to another Nookipedia account again.
• April 13, 2023: You lost access to April, notified AlexBot2004 of all of your previous account names, and you created the account named "Charmander123."
• July 25, 2023: You asked to be renamed to "froggypotter."

Sadly, the policy states that other users' messages can't be removed (with the exception of vandalism or personal attacks). I'll remove those images if you want, but it might be better to convert them to a higher quality file type. PNG is the preferred format, but webp is discouraged (but not prohibited completely). Database error?

Hi Drago, while I was browsing on the villagers' page quite recently, for some reason I caught the Database Error notice when loading Twiggy's page (even though refreshing the page gets rid of the message). Low quality images

"Names in other languages" translations

Hey Drago, I want to ask, if let's say translations on all languages lead to the same meaning, for example, the K.K. Slider song "I Love You", or any villager species like the birds, is it okay to retain those meanings in "Names in other languages", or should it be removed? Thanks in advance. All translations should remain even if it's redundant. A hyphen indicates that the original foreign name does not have a translation, or in the case of given names, that it does not have a meaning associated with it. HylianAngel (talk) 14:14, August 28, 2023 (EDT)

Re second person: this is hard to explain, but it basically means that the text is speaking directly to the reader. About becoming staff

So, lately, I have considered becoming a staff on Nookipedia. I am trying to meet the criteria so I can apply. Just for reference, how many edits did you have when you applied for staff?Acnh Player (talk) 20:08, March 25, 2024 (EDT)

It was only a few hundred if I recall correctly, but this was 10 years ago when Nookipedia had less active editors, and was therefore in need of new staff. I wouldn't recommend posting an application as soon as you meet the criteria, since those requirements are merely there to stop new editors applying straight after making an account. Also, keep in mind that some of your edits have had to be reverted so I'm not sure an application would succeed in the short term. I'd recommend gaining a lot more experience on Nookipedia; there's no need to rush! Drago (talk) 12:00, March 26, 2024 (EDT)

Also, if you type the colon (:) it indents your comment.

If you use two colons (::) you get a bigger indent. So basically if the comment above has two colons (::) then you type in three colons. (:::). If the previous comment has no colons, you type in one. It's just what Nookipedia:Policy says about removing messages: Do not remove other users' messages, except in clear cases of vandalism, personal attacks, being off-topic, or maintenance (removing duplicate messages, moving to correct talk page, etc.).
