We're glad that you've chosen to create an account! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Animal Crossing encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some things to keep in mind when editing pages: Read our wiki's editing, general use, and privacy policies. Create your user page! Your user page is your own personal space to put anything you want. Make effective edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around. Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't 'edit war', or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page. If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite. Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment. I'm actually one of the staff members over at Zelda Wiki (by the same name), and noticed that we have some files that you guys didn't, so I thought I would step over and help a bit. I was thinking about making some start up articles for the Zelda themed villagers from Welcome amiibo, but noticed I do not have permission to do so. I don't know what is needed to create pages here, but I will note that we have a few links going to the pages W.Link, Epona, Ganon, and Medli. --Pixel (talk) 13:25, November 8, 2016 (EST)

You're very welcome here! :) It's always nice to have cross-NIWA members joining! As for the page creation issue, the current setup requires you to be autoconfirmed (7 days and 10 edits since you joined) to create non-talk pages. This was because of a bunch of vandals creating and moving pages from December 2015 - February 2016. It has been a while, though, so I will contact the Directors to see if we can at least allow registered users to create pages. Red (talk) 13:30, November 8, 2016 (EST)

Thanks for the answer, and I completely understand the security measures in place to stop vandals. :| I'm pretty sure this account is older then 7 days, but I haven't done much of anything with it. It's not just you. Other users have been inconvenienced, because they can't create their user page until they're autoconfirmed, so I was considering a discussion with the Directors anyway.
