Hey Pokebub, I'm mlnintendo97, a Patroller here at Nookipedia. I am asking that you please edit your userpage by doing more things to it than edit just one part per minute as this is very hard on me and the rest of the staff to patrol edits. Try adding all the things you want on your userpage by doing them all in one edit per day. Editing just your userpage here isn't going to help you out in the long run when applying for staff as edits to your userpage doesn't really count as editing the wiki. -mlnintendo97 19:14, 24 March 2013 (EDT)
Hey Pokebub, I saw you needed help with your userpage - if you drop me a message on my userpage with whatever you need, I'll try my best to help you however I can. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 23:38, 2 April 2013 (EDT)
Copying from other sources
Hey Pokebob - I've noticed that you've been copying and pasting bits of text from the internet into some of the articles you've been working on. Unfortunately this is a very big no-no; work submitted to Nookipedia must be original, except in some cases, such as when copying from Wikipedia, in which the page should be marked with this template (in the end, though, it's always better to have original content). Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 23:20, 4 April 2013 (EDT)
- Sorry about that from now on I will use my own words Pokebub 23:23, 4 April 2013 (EDT)
Hey Pokebub - I noticed your message about creating a shop on your userpage. I appreciate the effort and offer of coins, but activity on the wiki should revolve around the encyclopedia - you are free to add info on yourself and other Animal Crossing related things on your userpage, though a user shop and other similar games and activities go against the point of a userpage. The forums provide a place for more casual chatting and games =) You can always create a game topic there to quiz others, like you intended to do here on the wiki. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 00:12, 12 April 2013 (EDT)
It's spelled Aurora - we actually happen to have an article on it =) Google can always help you out in these situations when you're not sure how to spell something. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 22:57, 23 May 2013 (EDT)
New Leaf Editing Sweepstake: Ticket Count
- Note: The following is a standardised message from Nookipedia staff.
Hello - during the month of May, you signed up for the New Leaf Editing Sweepstake. After reviewing your New Leaf-related contributions during the month of May, I have counted that you have earned 5 ticket(s), out of the maximum of 5 that you can earn. If you believe this count is correct, no action is needed. If you disagree with this count, please let me know on my talk page as soon as possible, by the end of May 7. We will discuss the issue and amends can be made. After May 7, the drawing will be held. Thank you! ~SuperHamster Talk 01:10, 1 June 2013 (EDT)
Hey Pokebub, mlnintendo97 here. I noticed in this edit you welcomed a user to Nookipedia. While this is okay, this is mostly handled by staff. Keep editing pages that stick to the main wiki and the staff will handle welcoming new users. :) -mlnintendo97 13:28, 8 June 2013 (EDT)
Hey Pokebub! I'm please to say that you are our lucky winner in the Nookipedia New Leaf Editing Sweepstake! Congrats, and thanks for the hard work (you also happened to earn the most tickets, which apparently paid off). To claim your prize, I will need you to email me your address so your prize may be shipped to you. Any information you share with me will be kept confidential and private. Once I get it, you should receive your surprise Animal Crossing plush doll ASAP. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 01:28, 14 June 2013 (EDT)
I saw in your sandbox...
A section called "Popular Dream Villages" for the Dream Suite article. It looks pretty good, maybe you should add it there?
Well, there is this popular Hitokui Village (apparently Japanese for "cannibalism"). You dress up as a policeman and try to figure out a murder mystery. It turns out to be this chef whose secret ingredient is human flesh (ewww!) Also, I think when you put the description for Aika Village on the Dream Suite article, you should mention the doll and how it's believed to have killed the girl's family. User:Technickal
I'd like to thank you for helping me clean up the vandalism. I was the only one cleaning up the big mess, until you helped! Even if it was a tiny bit, it's still a big help! Thanks! Heidy.isabel (talk) 20:20, September 9, 2015 (EDT) (P.S. The spam has been cleaned completely thanks to the directors.)
- Thank you to you both! And thanks for the email, Poke. Jake and I were able to get on ASAP and help hide revisions after that. ~SuperHamster Talk 20:27, September 9, 2015 (EDT)
Hey there! Just a heads up that I've made you a our newest Trustee. As a Trusteee, your edits are automatically labelled as patrolled, and if you'd like, you may also mark other editors' edits as patrolled. Keep up the great work. ~SuperHamster Talk 20:54, December 27, 2015 (EST)
- Wow! Didn't expect to become a Trustee! Thanks! --Pokebub (talk) 21:01, December 27, 2015 (EST)
- Please excuse SH's error here, according to Special:ListGroupRights, trustees can't mark other users' edits as patrolled. I feel you're an ideal candidate to become a patroller soon though, which would give you that ability and more. Red (season's greetings!) 10:59, December 28, 2015 (EST)
Official Contests article
Hey Poke - awesome job with Official Contests. It's a good idea and a nice article. When it's done being worked on, let me know and I'll be happy to make posts on our social media advertising the new article. Happy New Year! ~SuperHamster Talk 11:17, January 2, 2016 (EST)
