I propose that we drop the "Deep" part of the name, as in-game text in New Leaf (including Badge descriptions and Blathers' dialogue) simply calls them "Sea Creature[s]". This would make the name less awkward and a bit more concise. -- Dorsal Axe (talk) 07:40, April 17, 2020 (EDT)

How come none of the details for each sea creature in NH has info about the bubble amount? Like the vampire squid has medium bubbles, spider crab has many, and the sea slug has little, just to name a few. I tried to add it to the spider crab page, but it wouldn’t show up. Move to Seafood[edit]

I know that this page was recently moved to Deep Sea Creatures, but the official name is Seafood. If someone needs proof, then this one badge is called Seafood Maniac. I think we should move it back. Pokebub 19:27, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

It is technically deep sea creature, as Blather states. Seafood is just the direct Japanese translation. As for the medal, that sounds more like a clever name for the medal, since many of the deep sea creatures are seafood. "Seafood Maniac" sounds a bit more exciting than "Deep Sea Creature Maniac" ;) ~SuperHamster Talk 22:49, 21 June 2013 (EDT)
I believe that Blathers, Tortimer and some of the tours refer them to Sea Creatures. I think we should leave them at that. I think they are rarely referred to as Seafood in the game. Kreuniclus 23:26, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

Move proposal 2.0[edit]

I propose that we drop the "Deep" part of the name, as in-game text in New Leaf (including Badge descriptions and Blathers' dialogue) simply calls them "Sea Creature[s]". This would make the name less awkward and a bit more concise. --Shark HHD Icon.png Dorsal Axe (talk) 07:40, April 17, 2020 (EDT)

I agree. It would make it easier. --Jirachi (talk) 10:20, April 21, 2020 (EDT)

Missing info[edit]

How come none of the details for each sea creature in NH has info about the bubble amount? The amount of bubbles produced may be directly related to shadow size. The spider crab has a very large shadow, and the vampire squid has a medium one. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 10:36, May 28, 2021 (EDT)
