- Nintendo - Nintendo has released a Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct that announced new games related to the Super Mario series' 35th anniversary. In addition, Mario-themed furniture has been announced to be added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons by March 2021.

- New Horizons - Nintendo has released a trailer for a new update. The summer wave 2 update features the return of the Fireworks Show which occurs on Sundays in August, Luna and the ability to visit dream islands, and backup support. It is scheduled for July 30th. Another update is coming this Fall. It will feature the return of Jack.
