The Fortune Paper is a type of stationery in every first-generation Animal Crossing game.
The Fortune Paper cannot be obtained as an item, though it is the stationery used in Katrina's letter handed to the player on New Year's Day if the player purchases a fortune.
Version differences
In Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori+, the Fortune Paper is known as おみくじびんせん. This is changed to うらないびんせん in Doubutsu no Mori e+. Additionally, in Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori+, the Fortune Paper has different design, with the text and red marks located on the sides, the text being in Japanese, and the symbol near the top being different. Doubutsu no Mori e+ retains the design from Animal Crossing.
