Hiatus (again)

I'm not going to be able to edit at all from Friday 31^st July 2009 until Tuesday (i think) 11^th August 2009.
This is due to me going on holiday. Fwee! Tenerife!

Although, there may be one of those machines where you put in €1 and it gives you 10 minutes. I'll go on one of those, if it gets too hot. us gamers aren't too fond of the sun... we're like vampires... but we don't drink blood. OR DO WE? mwa ha ha ha ha!) Anyway, just thought you oughta know.

Funny thing is, This hiatus message appears at the top of here AND archive 2. Coincidence? No, it's probably me sub-conciously mucking around.

Protected Pages

Can you undo all of the protected villager pages you've protected? They shouldn't be protected :/ The Pierce one needs to be edited and no-one said that one needed protected :/ If anything, the only pages that should be protected are ones that are complete, and Pierce isn't! I protected that so I wouldn't keep getting edit conflicts - some person was putting in stupid comments like (miserable, huh?) to it. I just forgot to un-protect it. -- Dragonfree 20:19, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

My fault. I might've said that because a spammer advertised AC wikia and what not. I suspected Dragonfree of doing this because his IP was strikingly similar to the one he used on the AC wikia forum. But he says he didn't do it, and I will give him my trust. PC

Ban Request

Is it possible to ban or restrict the IP user 82.10.218.46 ? They keep vandalising the Stitches page and appear to do no useful edits to any pages. It's better to do this so they learn a lesson, than to keep commiting vandalism... MerrytonRyan 20:10, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

82.10.212.92 - Another IP to ban :/ Is there anyway we can shut off IPs from editing the site? It may stop the spam, and the majority of pages have been made so the current members can always make the slight tweaks and edits. Ok so I went to go edit the page on Jane using the photo that I uploaded. But I dont know how to add it. I got the photo on, and got the pitfall picture away, but I dont know how to save it to the page. Thanks!

IP Locking

Judging by the amount of emails I got this morning, I think you're idea of IP locking the Wiki might be a good idea. It's a shame we can't IP lock the first two decimals of the IP, seeing as the spammer seems to be using the same basic IP, it's just the last few digits that change. - MerrytonRyan 09:14, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

There is a range lock, but on MetaWiki or sumething like that, it says it's very risky and you could inadvertedly (sp?) lock out hundreds of innocent users/potential users. -- Dragonfree 09:16, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

Fish/Bug Infoboxes

I made an infobox template for fish, and added them to each page. I also am making a bug infobox. Since Dab is inactive, I don't know who to ask, but should their be a rarity on the bug infobox? Ray ^{Talk 2 me} 14:14, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think there should be a rarity, but Dab said, because the capture methods of the bugs can differ vastly, we shouldn't have a rarity. Since you are trying to bring the community together, then I might as well suggest a few things.

1. Voting on featured articles.

1. The Main one. On Zeldapedia, they have the Temple of Courage. 2 characters go head to head in a popularity contest. I think it would be cool with all of the AC Characters that could happen.

How to Train Your Dragon Admin Privileges

Hey, I know I'm pretty new on the How to Train Your Dragon wiki, but I plan to be pretty active on it in the future. I've made quite a few changes already and reformatted most of the major pages, in addition to adding more detail and pictures. It would make things a lot easier if I had admin privileges. If you don't want to make me a root admin since I'm so new I understand, but I'm definitely going to be making a lot more changes and some form of admin privilege would help a lot.
