Isao Moro (毛呂 功 Moro Isao) is a video game designer who previously worked at Nintendo. He joined Nintendo as a programmer in 2002, but soon turned into a planner.

He first worked as assistant director and planner of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Afterward, he joined the Animal Crossing team as a result of debugging for Doubutsu no Mori e+. He served as system director of Animal Crossing: Wild World, sub-director of Animal Crossing: City Folk, and director of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.

In 2018 Moro left Nintendo to open a programming class at a workshop Atelier Yu in Okinawa.[1]
