- K.K. Slider appeared as the opening act for the Splatoon-themed concert Haicalive Kyoto Mix (pictured) at Nintendo Live 2019. He performed "Welcome Horizons" and an acoustic cover of "Splattack!".
- In a poll hosted by Nintendo in August 2002 with over 7,000 participants, K.K. Slider was voted the most popular Animal Crossing series character.
- Searching a storage unit in a villager's house in New Leaf may prompt that villager to give the player an item contained within.
- In City Folk, if the player leaves the game idle long enough on the bus to the city, Kapp'n will begin to whistle Totaka's Song.
- In New Leaf, the music from the Happy Room Academy HQ in City Folk can be heard on the TV when the talk show is airing, but in a slower tempo to the original song.
- Parts of "K.K. Country" resemble the melody of Choco Mountain from Mario Kart 64.
