Miis are customizable avatars on Nintendo's video game consoles. They can be created on the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and Nintendo Switch. Miis appear in various games, and they have appeared in the Animal Crossing series in Animal Crossing: City Folk, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and the Animal Crossing: Sweet Day minigame in Nintendo Land, as well as in the Super Smash Bros. series as fighters.

Appearances in the Animal Crossing series[edit]

In City Folk and New Leaf[edit]

In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the player can purchase a Mii mask makeover from Harriet at Shampoodle, which covers their head with that of a Mii chosen from the Wii or Nintendo 3DS.

In Sweet Day[edit]

In the Animal Crossing: Sweet Day minigame in Nintendo Land, the playable characters are Miis dressed as Animal Crossing characters.

In Animal Crossing Plaza[edit]

In Animal Crossing Plaza, the Mii of the Wii U user profile playing the app appears in the plaza, and the player can tap on it to view their profile.

In the Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there are four Animal Crossing-themed costume options for the Mii Fighter: The Isabelle Hat, Isabelle Outfit, K.K. Hat, and K.K. Outfit.
