''Brachiosaurus'' is a large sauropod dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Jurassic, around 153 million years ago. The name comes from the dinosaur's front limbs, which are much longer than its rear limbs. Very little of the animal's neck has been found—and none of its tail—but estimates based on related species place it at 18-21 meters long and weighing 28-58 tons.
