The black wooden-deck rug is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As a rug item, it can be placed inside the houses of villagers or the player, Photopia on Harv's Island, a room in the island's hotel, a vacation home in Happy Home Paradise, or in the Room Sketch app.

The black wooden-deck rug can be obtained from Saharah either by selecting the "Medium rug" option when Saharah is visiting the player's island for  1,500 Bells or from Saharah's Co-Op on Harv's Island for  1,800 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Cherry, Julia, and Sylvia.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Annalise, Del, Dotty, Hamphrey, Olaf, and Peewee. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the school.
