Cedar trees are an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Cedar trees will drop tree branches, Bells, or a wasp nest when shaken. If hit with an axe, cedar trees produces either hardwood, wood, or softwood. As a tree item, it can relocated after eating an edible item and using a shovel.

During certain seasonal events, cedar trees will drop wood eggs, pine cones, red ornaments, blue ornaments, and gold ornaments. Additionally, mushrooms can be found near cedars trees.

Cedar trees can obtained by planting a cedar sapling on a dirt or grass tile. Cedar trees also spawn naturally on the second and third-tier of the player's island, and they can also be found on Mystery Islands or on Kapp'n's boat tours.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing the second villager's vacation house.
