Template:Infobox Painting The Famous Painting is a painting that can be bought in all games in the Animal Crossing series. Despite being available in Crazy Redd's in both Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: City Folk, it is a spotlight product in Animal Crossing: Wild World, and is therefore considerably cheaper. The Famous Painting is a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, painted from circa. 1503 to 1506. It is undoubtebly one of the most famous (and priceless) works of art in the entire world, hence the title it is given in the Animal Crossing series.

The Famous Painting Can be donated to the museum for addition to the art gallery. As this painting can be bought from Crazy Redd's in some games, players should bear in mind that they may be purchasing a counterfeit. Upon donation in City Folk, it is one of the few priveliged paintings to be displayed in the rear room, where it is sheltered behind a protective fence.
