The apple hat is a headwear item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The item can be worn by either the player or any villagers.

The apple hat can be obtained from crafting, which requires 5× apple. The recipe for this item can be obtained from big sister villagers, either when they are crafting in their house, or when the player receives their message bottle from the beach.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Apple and Rilla. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of a villager or the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes.
