The I love GC shirt (アイラブGCのふく ai rabu GC no fuku?) is a clothing item in Doubutsu no Mori+. It replaces the I love 64 shirt from Doubutsu no Mori, and it is replaced by the cherry shirt in Animal Crossing.
In Animal Crossing, all clothing items have two names: one seen in-game, and another internal name used for the item's furniture variation. The internal furniture names are usually identical to the names seen in-game. However, the internal furniture name for the cherry shirt, which replaces the I love GC shirt, is a localized version of the latter item's Japanese name. The localized name is "GCN shirt". This name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "traje cerezas" in Spanish, "T-shirt cerise" in French, "GCN-Outfit" in German, and "veste GCN" in Italian.
In Doubutsu no Mori e+, the name used by the furniture variation of the fortune shirt is "アイラブ64のふく", the same name as the I love 64 shirt from Doubutsu no Mori, which was replaced by the I love GC shirt in Doubutsu no Mori+.
- Each item belongs in one of three rarity groups (A, B, or C), and each group is mapped to a rarity when the town is created. For example, in one town Group A clothing may be common while in another town, Group A clothing will be rare.
- #184 in Doubutsu no Mori+
- As clothing available from Tom Nook's store, this item is also available from the following sources: the dump; Mom; the player's birthday; Wisp; Sale Day; the Lost & Found (if the item's rarity group is common); and Gracie if the player fails to completely wash her car (if the item's rarity group is common). All of these sources except Wisp require the item to be in season.
