The patched shirt is a clothing item in every first-generation Animal Crossing game.
The patched shirt can be obtained from villagers on Halloween; if the player refuses to give a villager candy when they ask for it, they can turn their currently worn clothing into this item.
No villagers wear this item as their default outfit.
