Fan

Fans are a type of handheld item available only in Animal Crossing, Doubutsu no Mori e+, and New Horizons. When used, the player will fan themselves as if they are trying to keep cool. Trees can still be shaken when holding fans.

Obtaining

In Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+

In Animal Crossing, fans are only available if Redd has them during the Fireworks Festival on July 4. In Doubutsu no Mori e+, they are also available at Tom Nook's One Day Sales. Fans can be purchased for  780 Bells from Redd, or  600 Bells from Tom Nook or the catalog. There are eight varieties available:

In New Horizons

Two uchiwa fans and four folding fans exist in New Horizons. The uchiwa fan is obtained from Nook's Cranny for  800 Bells or Redd during the Fireworks Show for  500 Bells, while the Nook Inc. uchiwa fan is obtained from Nook Stop for  400 Nook Miles. The four folding fans are obtained from Redd while on Harv's Island.
